- Steps:
- Report Enrollment: By September 30, report your homeschool enrollment via the Delaware Department of Education website.
- Report Attendance: By July 31, submit end-of-year attendance information online.
- Option 2: Multi-Family Homeschool
- Definition: Collaborate with other families to educate children primarily at home or other locations.
- Steps:
- Appoint a Liaison: Choose someone to handle communication with the Department of Education.
- Report Enrollment: Same as above, report by September 30.
- Report Attendance: Submit end-of-year attendance by July 31.
- Option 3: Single-Family Homeschool with Local School District Coordination
- Definition: Educate your child at home with coordination from your local school district.
- Steps:
- Contact Superintendent: Get written approval for your homeschooling plan.
